Did you know that the fastest growing age group in California is 85 and older? At Eskaton, we believe in living life to its fullest.  We are the largest nonprofit community based organization serving seniors in the region.  We are mission-focused and care about all seniors whether living in an Eskaton community, residing in affordable housing or choosing to age in their own home.

  • Over 50% of the seniors Eskaton serves live below the poverty line.

  • Every 8 seconds someone turns 65 in the U.S.  This will continue to happen every 8 seconds for the next 16 years.

  • Eskaton has 30 communities, 15 of which are for extremely low-income seniors.

  • In Sacramento, the number of 65 year olds will increase by 172% in the next few years.

Eskaton Foundation and its board are inspired to move forward to meet the increasing needs of seniors.Improving lives, that’s what Eskaton does best, and it represents the very core of who we are.
