Debbie Gisonni is a best selling author, holistic lifestyle advisor, and corporate leader who inspires people to make simple changes that radically improve their self-awareness, well-being and success. A charismatic speaker and media guest, she is the CEO of Stillheart Institute, and was one of the first and youngest women publishers in high tech, as Publisher of Network Computing and Publishing Director who launched InternetWeek.
At the height of her corporate career, her personal life was shattered when four family members died in four years—one from suicide. After these life-altering events, Debbie embarked on a mission to help others navigate the ups and downs of life and work, from the tragic to the trivial. For fifteen years, she has advised business executives and individuals alike in adopting healthy lifestyle and work habits including meditation.
Often called “The Goddess of Happiness”, Debbie is the author of the nonfiction books, The Goddess of Happiness: A Down-to-Earth Guide for Heavenly Balance and Bliss and Vita’s Will: Real Life Lessons about Life, Death & Moving On. Her first novel, Note to Self: Love, was released in 2013. She has addressed audiences from corporate executives to women’s groups to teen girls, and her clients at Stillheart Institute range from spiritual gurus to corporate leaders.
Debbie has written articles and been featured in publications worldwide. Her “Health and Happiness” column appears on the San Francisco Examiner.com and her blog on Huffington Post. She has been a guest on numerous radio and TV shows.
Debbie holds a B.S. in Business Administration and is a certified hypnotherapist.
Originally from The Bronx, New York, she lives in Silicon Valley, California, with her husband and huskies. Her lifelong passions include food, fitness, fashion, health, and wellness.
